Critical Link International spearheaded a movement that has evolved into a robust field of study, research, and professional practice in community interpreting.

Our Research and Resources section is now active

Learn how you can play an active role in our online community

Great news! Our Research and Resources section on our website is now active and accepting submissions. Critical Link is committed to fostering the free exchange of information and research and now you can play your part. Check out the Research/Resources tab on the website and upload your papers, conference information, collaboration, funding and training proposals. Members will now have access to the latest research and advances in our field.

6 different streams to share, search & publish

  • Call for Papers

Submit previously unpublished papers, presentations, or articles. You must have the authority to share any work you post.

  • Conferences and Events

  • Collaborations

Starting a new research project or initiative? Seeking collaborators? Here is the place to post.

  • Publications

  • Funding

The perennial issue. Where is the money? Tell your colleagues about new or existing funding envelopes and promote continued studies.

New Resource Centre

The other exciting development is our brand new online Resource Centre. Here you will find links to current research as well as downloadable tool kits for interpreters. Although brand new, we already have links to health care interpreting research; multilingual glossaries; links to articles by Holly Mikkelson; and much, much more.

Access this incredible feature under our Research/Resource tab on the website.
